Facials

A facial is procedure involving a variety of skin treatments, including cleansing, steaming,
exfoliation, extractions, facial massage, and masks.

Makeup

The art of applying makeup that includes includes day, evening, bridal and fashion make-up.

Manicure

Cosmetic treatment of the hands involving nail shaping, cuticle work, and painting of the nails.

Pedicure

A cosmetic treatment of the feet and toenails involving nail shaping, cuticle work smoothing of hard calloused skin and painting of the nails.

Tinting and Shaping

Eyebrow and lash tinting enhances the colour of the hair making it appear fuller thicker and more defined. Shaping of the eyebrows creates a well balanced neat brow that enhances the clients appearance.

Waxing

A technique used to temporarily remove unwanted hair.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a traditional classic massage that uses various techniques to manipulate soft tissues. Swedish Massage has many benefits including relaxation and improving muscle pain or tension.

Body Alignment

Body Alignment is a therapy that assists the body in effectively maintaining a normal standard of health for everyday well-being and functioning, this includes spinal alignment and weight management.

Deportment

Deportment is a module that will discuss the way one conducts themselves in a
professional environment. This will assist in preparing the learner for the workplace as well as the future as an entrepreneur, a therapist, or a learner in general.

Cosmetic Science

Cosmetic science covers the ingredients and formulations of various cosmetic products used in the Health and Skincare industry.

Applied Anatomy

Applied Anatomy is an introductory module to Anatomy and Physiology, exploring the make up and functioning of the body from cellular level up to organ level.

Occupational Health and Safety

In the salon, the highest priority must be given to preventing infection, cross-infection
and infestation. The therapist carries the responsibility to protect themselves, other staff
and the clients from the risk of contamination.

Business Awarement

Business Management is the coordination and organisation of business activities. This includes the production of materials, machines and money, and involves both marketing and innovation.

Nutrition I

Nutrition is about eating a regular, balanced diet. Good nutrition helps fuel your body. In this module you will learn the basics of good nutrition and meal planning.

Anatomy and Physiology II

Building on Applied Anatomy, you will gain knowledge on how each organ functions and how each system is vital to the body’s health and homeostasis.

Nutrition II

Once knowledge is gained on the fundamentals of nutrition, you will be taught how the body uses foods taken in for health and immunity as well as optimal body functioning.

Aromatherapy Body Massage I

Aromatherapy is a type of massage therapy that uses essential oils to promote relaxation and well-being.

Reflexology Foot Massage

Reflexology is a type of massage that involves applying different amounts of pressure to the feet. It’s based on the theory that body part pressure points are connected to certain organs and body systems.

Stress Management and Stress Massage

Stress Relief Massage is extremely effective in reducing muscle tension. Without tension and “knots” soft tissues can work in a more efficient way.

Lomi-Lomi/ Hawaiian Massage

This massage technique uses heated Basalt lava stones to massage and warm the client’s muscles and tissues. Hot stone massage allows for a deeper pressure massage compared to Swedish massage. Hot stone massage includes the therapeutic application of hot and cold stones on the body.

Indian Head Massage

Our Indian Head Massage course is based on ancient Ayurvedic techniques. Indian Head Massage focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, and face. A variety of massage movements are applied to relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation, and restore joint mobility.

Nail Technology – Acrylic Nails and Nail Art

This in-depth course will provide you with both theoretical and practical skills to perform nail enhancements with confidence. You can choose to do all three systems or select individual courses below.

Permanent Make Up

This cosmetic technique uses a method of tattooing to enhance the appearance of the brows and eyes. The module is conducted with a highly qualified lecturer who will provide one-to-one training.

Microblading

This module explores the art of semi-permanent makeup to improve the appearance of the eyebrows. Training is conducted with a highly qualified Lecturer on a one-to-one basis.

Eyelash extensions

Eyelash extensions are enhancements designed to add length, thickness, and fullness to natural eyelashes.

Spa Business Management

Spa management involves overseeing all aspects of the spa to ensure that the business runs smoothly and provides an optimal experience for all clients.
